A useful inspection request
- Property address, contact details and access notes.
- Whether the caller is asking about a leak, storm damage, repair or replacement.
- The caller’s description of the issue and preferred inspection time.
- Only business-approved property details; no request to climb onto the roof.
Book an inspection, not an entire roofing job
An inspection or estimate is different from scheduling a crew, materials and weather-dependent work. The calendar should identify the approved inspection type and duration. A confirmed inspection must not be described as a confirmed roof replacement.
Lasso should not promise an insurance outcome, warranty eligibility, price or completion date that the roofing business has not approved. Questions requiring assessment go to a person.
Storm demand needs a real fallback
After-hours and overflow answering can help capture multiple inquiries during a busy period. Voice-minute limits and the carrier’s forwarding capacity still matter. Setup needs a defined response for urgent concerns, owner unavailability and capacity limits.
The receptionist gathers details and connects or records the request; it does not diagnose structural safety or dispatch emergency services.
