Choose when Lasso answers
- After-hours: route calls to Lasso when your business is closed.
- Daytime overflow: keep your usual phone routine and route calls your team cannot answer.
- Primary answering: use an AI front desk for one business number during and after business hours.
Keep your advertised number
We check your carrier or phone system before changing routing. Compatible forwarding usually lets you keep the number on your trucks, website and business cards. The exact forwarding steps—and whether multiple calls can pass through—depend on your provider.
Texting is a separate channel. It uses the messaging number configured for your business and starts after the required carrier approval. Voice and text can be selected together, or you can choose only the channel you need within your plan.
From a conversation to a verified appointment
Lasso collects your approved intake details, such as the requested service, address, timing and callback number. With a supported calendar connected, it checks availability, reads the appointment details back and asks for confirmation before booking.
An inspection or estimate is not a promise that a repair crew has been dispatched. If booking cannot be verified, the caller gets an honest explanation and a saved request for follow-up—not a made-up confirmation.
Human handoffs and busy periods
Human transfers must use a direct, configured destination that does not forward back to Lasso. The handoff connects after a person accepts, with an agreed backup or no-answer response.
Lasso supports five separate AI voice conversations at the same time. During setup, we check your phone provider’s forwarding capacity and agree on an overflow response. Lasso is not an emergency dispatch service.
Plans, minutes and availability
The $249 After-Hours & Overflow plan includes 500 voice minutes per month. The $449 AI Front Desk includes 1,000. Both include calendar booking and can use voice, text or both. The $99 Text-Back plan does not include voice.
Included voice minutes are monthly allowances, not unlimited use. Additional minutes require your approval. Texting allowances and the phone fallback at a limit are agreed during setup. Around-the-clock coverage describes answering hours, not unlimited minutes.
Guided setup covers your business information, phone routing, supported calendar and owner notifications. Choose the channels and coverage in your plan; your trial starts when your selected service is activated.
